Our CHARGE community is mourning the loss of Lucas Weindorf who passed away yesterday, October 2, just shy of 17 months. He lived a very short, but immensely love-filled life. While we don't know the Weindorfs personally, we follow their journey through the Blogger network and CHARGE listserv. Their loss is unfathomable... and yet there is some peace to be found in the grief, knowing that he no longer suffers and no longer struggles. He is, to quote the family's post yesterday, "Resting in such sweet peace now and patty caking with the angels forever..."
Whether you pray, send positive thoughts or meditate... whatever your faith... please think of them as they bury their sweet son on Saturday and begin the healing process.
