Lately it's been a difficult task due to several factors, not the least of which being that Gracie is often not clothed (indoors) and Preston is often moving at the speed of light. So, today, as we headed around the corner with friends to enjoy our first carnival of the season (our community has several this time of year), I quickly clicked away at my two favorite faces.

| And I LOVE all of these! I love that Preston is holding Gracie's hand. I love that he tickled her to get her to smile. I love that she pushed his hand away and laughed at him. I LOVE how much they adore each other. (I also LOVE that, once again, Gracie kept those sunglasses on for a really long time!) |

Love, love, LOVE these pics, Kristi! Gracie and Preston look so adorable in their sunglasses! I just love how close of a bond they have.
That's so neat that your neighborhood has several carnivals during the year! I've always wondered how Katie would do with face-painting--not sure if she'd have the patience to sit still for it or not. Gracie, Preston, and Addie all look so cute with theirs, though--they may have given me inspiration to try it with Katie and see how it goes!

one of the first things i thought about when i found out i was pregnant this time around (and i was a sobbing mess because i didn't feel ready) was the relationship between preston and gracie. those two share something so special, i can only hope moriah has that with her baby brother...

After a Sunday filled with reading, writing and math, Danny typed this note to Gracie. I asked if he wanted me to help him spell what he wanted to say to Gracie. He said "No mom. Kristi knows what it says". LOL. I think he was on academic overload. He did sign-off, however.
