Happiness is... a quiet house

Today, for the first time since December 18th, both kids were at school.
Happiness.

Today, for the first time since December 18th, the house was quiet for a few hours. Happiness.

This evening, the kids are home and once again, the house is noisy, chaotic and a mess. Happiness.

Oh... I mustn't forget...
Happiness is... the return of regular programming on TV.

Have I told you how much I'm loving your daily posting? Well, I'm loving it!

Ahhhh, quiet countered by chaos - that is lovely.

Now what are you watching tonight? :-)

I love your Happiness postings! :) It looks like you guys had a wonderful Christmas. That orange tree in your backyard is awesome! Two houses ago we had an orange and a lemon tree in the backyard, and I love them. Now we have persimmons that are delicious and avocados that never ripen. :)

I wanted to ask you if you would be interested in meeting up with my "cp group". It started out as all moms with kids with Cerebral Palsy, and then we branched off to the small core group of us who really get along. There are five of us now and we get together for dinner once a month. Four of us have kids with CP (among other things!) and one has a daughter with arthrogyposis. So lots of different diagnosis' and issues going on, and we all just get along so well. We have a joke rule that your kid can't eat by mouth to join, but we make exceptions. One mom has an "eater". :) If you are interested, let me know! There's five of us and we are going to dinner on January 26th. Send me an email waffle1313 @ gmail.com if you are! I would love to meet you and have you come.

Kristi, I am such a terrible blogger, but I just went to do a quick update post and saw your comment. Thank you! We did have a great holiday - nice and relaxed. I hope you all did as well! I wanted to let you know that Luke is having a single stage LTR tomorrow. With what happened with the attempted decan and how he has been with trach changes we think he has developed a collapse and that the surgery is necessary. There are still so many variables (with his choanal atresia and irritation in his airway) that I don't know if it will work for sure, but we feel he has a good enough chance that we have to try.

And I love your happiness posts! It is always good to think about all the things we can be thankful for.
